Video scripture of week 2-Matthew 7:7-8

Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."

These verses contain three action words: ask, seek, and knock. Jesus encourages us to be persistent in asking, seeking, and knocking. We should not give up or lose heart in our efforts to seek God. We have an assurance that our efforts will be rewarded. We should continue asking for spiritual blessings, spiritual growth, wisdom, guidance, and provision for our physical needs. Verse 8 emphasizes the certainty of the response in that when we ask, we receive, when we seek we find and when we knock, the door is opened for us.
