Matthew 6:33
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
This scripture calls us to turn to God, refocus our lives on God, and not worry or be anxious about physical needs. Our purpose in life is not to run after the treasures of this world but after the things of God. “These Things”-Physical concerns are essential but should not dominate our lives. God, who cares for his natural creation—the birds and the vegetation—will care for our needs. He knows we need these things. This year, what are you seeking? What are you pursuing? What is your priority? Are you pursuing money, fame, and social media influence or pursuing God’s Kingdom and his righteousness? Seek to please God.
